Our office internet is currently down, and therefore our phone service and remote working service is currently not working. Our provider is working hard to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused— Evans & Jones (@EvansandJones1) July 15, 2020
The @welshgovernment has announced that from 27/07/20 a new threshold of £250,000 in relation to Land Transaction Tax on main residential homes. This tax reduction will last until 31/03/21. This will not apply to purchases of additional properties/buy to let/second homes— Evans & Jones (@EvansandJones1) July 14, 2020
.@fmwales @LlywodraethCym When can we expect clarity in relation to LTT?A similar tax holiday to SDLT surely needs to be implemented asap to avoid Welsh property market stalling. Please advise asap as we have people (understandably)delaying the exchange of contracts in expectation— Evans & Jones (@EvansandJones1) July 9, 2020
Thank you! Just checking though....the amendments have only been done in relation to properties in England? https://t.co/7Peksmp404— Evans & Jones (@EvansandJones1) July 8, 2020
The #stampdutycut refers to property transactions in England ONLY #LandTeansactionTax in Wales is devolved and we await heearing from @WelshGovernment as to whether a similar scheme will be brought in here https://t.co/g1SRuhp9LC— Evans & Jones (@EvansandJones1) July 8, 2020
Land Transaction Tax is the tax paid on properties in Wales, NOT Stamp Duty. We are awaiting guidance from @WelshGovernment @LlywodraethCym as to whether similar provisions will apply in Wales. https://t.co/BgIyoFbaW1— Evans & Jones (@EvansandJones1) July 7, 2020
